I currently work for the Fire Research Division at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. As part of an NRC Postdoctoral position I will be exploring the computational modeling of under-ventilated fires. I am part of the development team of Fire Dynamics Simulator, which is a computational fluid dynamics tool that gives users the ability to model fire-driven flows. Specifically I am working on verification and validation of the lumped species approach for modeling combustion chemistry.
Please see my CV for more detailed information about my academic pursuits.
